Recently, ICTO launches a server hosting service allowing academic units to have their servers hosted in a managed data center environment.
What’s server hosting service?
You can physically locate your server(s) in ICTO data center and manage the server by yourself. We call it ‘co-location’ hosting service. It is a type of service to provide server housing space. The user departments own the servers and have full control over the hardware and software.
Advantages of server hosting service include:
- Access Control Management
- 7×24 CCTV monitoring
- N+1 CRAC Machine Redundancy (Cooling)
- Controlled humidity and temperature
- Automated fire detection and fire suppression
- An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to stabilize the power supply
- Standard 19-inch racks with ethernet connection
