eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide wireless LAN roaming service developed for the international research and education community.
At this moment, eduroam is available in 74 countries or regions world-wide. For the eduroam Macao, the University of Macau is the first institution participating in this roaming infrastructure in 2009, and takes the initiative in managing the infrastructure for the Macao region as well as providing technical consultation and pre-examination for membership approval.
eduroam allows students, staff members and researchers from member institutions to enjoy free wireless services at other institutions providing eduroam service. (Note: eduroam is not for use within campus.)
To use the eduroam service,
Please search and connect network with SSID named “eduroam”.
Input your UM wireless LAN account ID with suffix “@pclan.umac.mo” and password for authentication.
For example
Username : chantaiman@pclan.umac.mo or bb51234@pclan.umac.mo
