In the month of October and November, 2015 ICTO organised an internal ITIL Foundation training for staff members. All ICTO staff members have attended ITIL Foundation training, passed the examination and received ITIL Foundation certification.

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is a widely accepted approach to IT Service Management (ITSM) globally. ICTO has acquired a new ITSM system that follows ITIL best practices for managing its services. In order to equip staff members with the concept of ITIL processes and common understanding of terminology, training classes were arranged internally. In near future, we will be replacing our current Help Desk system with the new ITSM system that is embedded with ITIL processes for managing support requests with the aim to provide quality service to support UM members.
