To further enhance data security and protect users’ accounts, the SSL VPN system enabled Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) starting from 4 January 2024. This Security upgrade improves the security of the client side and the system. After the upgrade, all users are required to enable 2FA service when using SSL VPN outside the UM campus.
Please enable the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) service to protect your UMPASS account.
Moreover, the VPN client was changed to Ivanti Secure Access Client. Users can log into SSL VPN with a 2FA login process via a client when using a non-UM network.
