To welcome new students and introduce the IT facilities and services, a series of activities were organized from 5 August to 22 August 2019. Over 1,600 new students attended the activities.
ICTO Services & Facilities Briefing to PG Students
ICTO arranged two detailed briefing sessions to postgraduate students in ICTO’s computer rooms. During the sessions, we introduced IT facilities and services including UMPASS, student lifelong email – UM@Connect, network, Student Information Web Services, information security and other related topics.

11 briefing sessions were organised for the undergraduate students and student leaders. During the briefing sessions, we introduced ICTO services & facilities and demonstrated the use of UMMoodle and ePortfolio.

Booths at Administration Building and Student Activity Centre
To assist students to register for Student Lifelong Email service – UM@Connect and Two-Factor Authentication service, booths were set up at the Administration Building and Student Activity Centre. Over 700 students registered for mentioned services at booths.
