ICTO has performed a security upgrade on the SSL VPN system. This Security upgrade improves the security of the client side and the system. After the upgrade, the computer client was changed to Ivanti Secure Access Client.
To improve the protection of UM network and data, ICTO will integrate SSL VPN service with Two-Factor Authentication.
SSL VPN with 2FA activation Schedule

| 4 September 2023 | For users who have applied the Two-Factor Authentication service (2FA), it is required to perform Two-Factor Authentication when accessing SSL VPN using the non-UM network. |
| 4 January 2024 | All users are required to enable 2FA service when accessing SSL VPN using the non-UM network. |
