Information and Communication Technology Office (ICTO) constantly explores and deploys appropriate IT to enhance the campus experience.
In June 2024, ICTO launched the new service, “QR Access”. This service allows you to use mobile phone as an alternative to your campus card for authentication when accessing major UM buildings. The initial trial phase covers the entrances between Anthony Lau Building (E4) and Central Teaching Building (E6).
You can use your phone for entry at locations marked with the following label.
The “QR Access” service is integrated into the UM App. Install the app now!
