ICTO has organized the following meetings/ training with students and staff members from May 2021 to August 2021.

ICTO holds Academic IT Support Advisory Group (AITSAG) meetings regularly to share the experience and knowledge between support staff from academic units and ICTO’s staff members. The 1st AITSAG meeting of this academic year was held on 24 August 2021.

In the meeting, ICTO’s representatives shared the following topics and responded to the enquiry from AITSAG members:

  • Support for UMMoodle and Zoom
  • ICTO Computer Room Printing service
  • Security measures for Staff UMPASS account

On 5 May 2021, the 3rd SUFG meeting of Academic Year 2020/2021 was held.

In the meeting, ICTO’s representatives shared the following information with students:

  • End of Support for Basic Authentication to UM@Connect
  • Updates regarding Academic Computing Facilities and Student Services
  • 2020/2021 Academic Year’s User Satisfaction Survey on ICTO Services
  • Launch of ICTO’s Chatbot
  • IT Security Updates

Student representatives provided feedback on using wireless service in Resident College. ICTO staff provided instant response and followed up on the mentioned issues.
