To let users get familiar with the systems and facilities provided by ICTO, the following trainings were conducted from September to November 2023.

– Briefings of ACM, UM Resource Booking, ShareDM and eForm
– Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel training
– Introduction to use of ICTO Computer Room
– Advanced Tips and Tricks for Using Outlook

The courses receive an overwhelming response from UM staff members

In addition, to enhance users’ understanding of IT security in the context of intelligent living, and to learn how to protect data on electronic devices, ICTO held an IT Security Seminar on 18 October 2023.

The Student User Focus Group (SUFG) Meetings for Academic Year 2023/2024

From October 2023 to January 2024, ICTO held two regular meetings with student representatives.

In the meetings, ICTO’s representatives shared the following information with students:

The Academic IT Support Advisory Group (AITSAG) Meeting for Academic Year 2023/2024

The Academic IT Support Advisory Group (AITSAG) meeting was held on 19 September 2023.

Delegation from Eduardo Mondlane University visited ICTO

A delegation of Eduardo Mondlane University visited ICTO on 16 November 2023. The guest visited our Learning Commons, computer rooms, Help Desk and data center. Both of us had in-depth discussions on the support of teaching and learning, the campus IT infrastructure and development.
