ICTO places strong emphasis on security awareness and its continuous promotion across the community. To achieve this, we combine structured training, regulatory compliance education, and timely security communications. Through a series of seminars, hands-on exercises, and practical advisories, we proactively enhance staff and students’ understanding of information security, data protection, and emerging cyber risks.

The following initiatives illustrate this ongoing effort, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical response capabilities, addressing cybersecurity requirements in Macao and Mainland China, and providing guidance on real-world threats such as phishing and conference-related booking scams. Together, these initiatives demonstrate our commitment to building a vigilant, informed, and security-conscious environment.

To enhance awareness of Internet security in everyday life and promote data protection practices, ICTO organized two sessions of the Information Security Seminar. Technology experts from Hong Kong shared insights on the significance of information security and introduced effective methods for safeguarding data privacy.
