Generative Artificial Intelligence Tool (Microsoft Copilot) is available!

The University of Macau has made the generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tool Microsoft Copilot available for UM members.

To ensure the responsible and effective use of GenAI tools and to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity, UM has developed the “Guidelines on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools”. Please adhere to these guidelines when utilizing GenAI tools.

To access Microsoft Copilot, please sign in with your UMPASS account via https://genai.um.edu.mo.

For staff, please refer to this user guide.

For student, please refer to student user guide and complete a short online module and pass a short quiz before accessing Copilot.
